OUR WORK

Welcome to a little bit of who we are and what we are doing!  Cassie and I (Kevin) have been living and working in Managua, Nicaragua since 2011.  We originally came to Nicaragua to work with the Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) as Culture of Peace Educators.  For four years we taught classes at the Baptist Seminary of Nicaragua and Cassie worked as a Social Worker at Acción Médica Cristiana.  In August of 2015, we finished our work with MCC.  Kevin is currently teaching Economics and World History courses at Notre Dame High School.  Cassie is continuing her work at the Baptist Seminary, Accion Medica Cristiana as well as teaching a course for our alma mater, Dordt College.

In this space, we share about our interactions with students, neighbors and community.  We invite you to walk this journey with us, a picture of our lives as we live and work in Nicaragua.
